Conflict on the South Sudan Border
Conflict in South Kordofan, Sudan near the border of South Sudan, has displaced tens of thousands, many of them children. Many of the refugees are students whose secondary school studies were interrupted due to the conflict in South Kordofan state, Sudan. Over 1,000 students have arrived to the Pariang and Yida Refugee Camps in South Sudan's Unity State to continue their studies.
This is a brief look at how the conflict in South Kordodan, Sudan, is affecting these students.
Save the Children, ACTED and other partner organisations are working to provide secondary school services and vocational training in Pariang, with support from UNHCR.
